Gaku Nakano

Born 1987 in Aichi, Japan. Completed a diploma in Stuttgart State Academy of Fine Arts and Music in 2017. He creates sculptures, performances, and video works that reflect his daily life, incorporating the characteristics of the country or region in which he lives.
In recent years, he has been practicing the project of “creating a physical movement like a sport,” for approaching the relationship between the plasticity of rules and locality.
