FANG Yen Hsiang

(b. 1981, Taipei) is an independent curator, art critic, writer, and researcher currently based in Taipei. His practice investigates the intersections between contemporary art and social engagement, the impact of technological media on everyday ecologies, and the ways in which speculative writing expands the imagination and narrative dimensions of curatorial practice. He regards curating as an act of creating possibilities, one that responds to contemporary social, political, and cultural conditions. In recent years, his work has particularly focused on the entanglements of geopolitical and historical strata within planetary frameworks, while reflecting on the regeneration and evolution of ecological networks.
