(b. 1984, Kaohsiung, Taiwan) holds a master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts. His artistic practice often employs the principles and apparatus of magic to construct works that combine video, installation, and embodied experience, creating atmospheres of illusion and wonder. By incorporating found objects, public items, and discarded materials into his installations, Lin recontextualizes these elements to evoke new meanings and alternative intentions.
