Born in 1998. Graduated in 2022 from the Department of Sculpture, Musashino Art University. She works across sculpture, video, and other media, exploring the theme of things that can only be perceived by giving form to them and placing them outside the body. For example, the coldness felt on one’s face when pressing it into warm laundry, the way a partner talks about a beloved dog, and the sensation of worlds separated by the speed of passing trains all combine to evoke the image of burying one’s face in rapidly spinning golden fur. Presenting this as the work Hayainu allows her to realize she was perceiving “the sheer effort of others at full speed, and how that effort, though unrelated to oneself, can feel endearingly amusing.”
Major solo exhibitions include 1st BUG Art Award Grand Prix Winner Solo Exhibition: The Names on the Beach (2025) and Link Skater (2023).
