Born in 1996. Completed an M.F.A. in New Media at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. She considers installation as a device of seduction, examining characters, services, roles, parts, narratives, memories, and the desires that mediate them, as well as the gradations of fiction they generate. Her go-to karaoke song is Shiseikatsu (Private Life) by Aiko. Major presentations include the solo exhibition Happy End (NEWSPACE Pa, 2022) and Emergency Call (curated by Yusuke Oiwa, a telephone-based exhibition, 2020). Since 2024, she has also worked under the alternative name “Nishimura Rioha” as an art coordinator.
